Work History
Lindsay Wengler is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist and Certified Nutrition Support Clinician specializing in eating disorders and gentle, balanced nutrition. She holds a BA degree in Liberal Arts from Evergreen State College where she focused her studies on music and business management. After years of independently studying nutrition, she went back to school to become a dietitian to aid others in their eating disorder recovery. She went on to graduate with honors from San Francisco State University, and then later graduated with a Master’s in Clinical Nutrition. Lindsay completed her internship and fellowship in New York City at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital where she provided nutrition care for nearly 7 years.
For over 15 years, Lindsay’s involvement in the eating disorder community spanned various roles, including organizing and leading support groups, raising awareness with eating disorder associations, creating the campus education group “EDucate”, and working at the PHP/IOP levels of care. She is currently under supervision for CEDS (Certified Eating Disorder Specialist) certification and is a current member of the International Association of Eating Disorders Professionals and the International Federation of Eating Disorder Dietitians. Having a lived experience with an eating disorder herself, she personally understands their innate challenges and complexities. Lindsay dedicates her knowledge and experience to empowering others in finding their own peace with food.
