Work History

Marissa worked as a Clinical Registered Dietitian in the New York City area providing medical nutrition therapy to the older adult population in various healthcare settings including hospitals and sub-acute care centers. Marissa currently specializes in bariatrics and weight management. She is a CTP (Certified Trauma Professional), received her provider certification in EBT (Emotional Brain Training) and is working towards obtaining her certification as an intuitive eating counselor.

Education

Marissa A. Hellermann is a nationally recognized Registered Dietitian Nutritionist. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics and is pursuing her masters in Integrative Nutrition Therapy at Stony Brook University School of Medicine. After completing the RD internship program at Northwell’s North Shore University Hospital in Long Island New York.
