Dana is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist certified by the Commission on Dietetic Registration and licensed in the state of Illinois. She completed her internship at the UChicago Medicine Ingalls Memorial Hospital where she focused on community nutrition. Prior to her internship, she was awarded graduate student of the year while she completed her Master of Science degree in Food and Nutritional Sciences. Dana has experience providing nutrition counseling via telehealth for individuals with HIV/AIDS, refugees and individuals experiencing homelessness. Dana became a dietitian because she has a passion for helping others through food and lifestyle changes. Dana is fascinated by the fact that an individual’s relationship with food can help shape many other aspects of their life. She spends her free time taking care of her cat Fancy and tending to her indoor plants and garden.
